CURRAWONG PACKAGES
This season we will be offering a number of Wingshooting Packages.Weekend Package
- Day 1 - Commencing at 1.00pm on Friday, we will offer each client 100 plus clay targets at our Sporting Clay Ground as a warm-up/eye opener. Afternoon tea and a 4 course meal will be provided
- Day 2 - Shooting birds with lunch and a 4 course meal provided.
- Day 3 - Half day shooting birds with lunch provided.
Year of the Driven Pheasant
For the last 4 years we, at Currawong Lakes have been thinking outside the box.
We have been letting nature sort out the best of our Pheasants by managing our birds as a wild flock. Natural selection has given us a cunning, strong and well feathered bird that challenges and delights our guests.
Now with the addition of an excellent strong flying strain of Old English Blackneck and Ringneck bloodline sourced from across Australia, we have established what we believe to be the ideal Pheasant, to offer as a sporting driven Pheasant.
Reared on grass in the traditional manner and released into the wild, well before the season, as they should be, our aim will be to provide challenging birds to really test the guns.
Because of our confidence in our ability to do this we will relax our shot size limitations to allow size 6 (English) shot to give you a fair and sporting chance to bag a few.
Our driven shoots will be offered in May and June as part of a four day package including:
• A day’s driven, mainly Pheasant 4-6 drives depending on time and opportunity.
• A day on the range either to practice or recover.
• A day’s part walking, part standing – Pheasant, Partridges and Quail.
• A half day’s boundary rough shooting.
We are able also to tailor packages to incorporate Fly Fishing and Guiding. Please contact us to discuss tailoring a package to suit your requirements.
